    Is this about ball placement? I’m not sure what the lesson is 😅 Maybe a lapel mic would be good to add commentary?

      I think the idea is to do this as a drill. Place your in-play ball in its normal position, and then the blocker balls outside of your right foot. If you release too early you will hit the blockers.

      💯 Correct it is about improving your angle of attack into the ball.

      What an absurd comment. Transferring weight is as old as the hills so your premise is almost certainly wrong. Besides if Mark has spotted a way of illustrating this more effectively of course he is going to share it.

    No good. Your not understanding the transition move. It's not a manual Re wrout. This is so weak.. the position and the main result it the head potentially ovrlertaling thenhands resulting in the crappy contact you can hear more often than not.

    sometimes my short chips ( approx. 25 yds or less ) will squirt severely right...pretty sure my club face is opening too much at impact and it's not due to hitting the hosel.....my shots will go very much to the right ...what can I check or do to help ....also, pulling my trail leg back does help.....thanks much

    • @markwoodgolfacademy
      @markwoodgolfacademy 11 днів тому

      I would use some powder spray on the face to see where you are striking it from first. Then I would put two tees down. One outside the heel of the club and the other just outside the toe. This makes a gate for you to swing through. Hit short shots working the club through the gate 👍

    • @Literallyheretotalkshi
      @Literallyheretotalkshi Місяць тому

      This works for putting but with a driver you’re sacrificing a lot if you can’t keep the ball in the corner of your eye. Most people don’t have the spinal rotation required to both keep their face on the ball and complete a full backswing.

      @@noah-tm9we try getting on your left side pulling har like a train leave your club behind. If you don't throw it the natural biomechanics will square the face up through impact. Also you will compress the ball much better have a better strike. Shafts lean will improve strike that way also. X. If your really struggling with over the top. Keep your back facing the target longer through transition. Unless your annika sorenstam don't cup your wrists in the takeaway. Your rolling it open. And yin-yang laws say it must go back. You need one of those £2 training aid. That straps to your left wrist. It just stops your hand and wrist cupping. Good luck

    This is brilliant. I fixed a transfer issue by front loading weight, only to run into this big block right issue. I force-fixed it by hitting draws, which subconsciously forced me to slow down that weight transfer and allow my path to change more in to out, but this is a lot more promising. Looking forward to hitting the range to work with this drill

    Only with the irons are the hands ahead of the club head. Woods hands neutral at impact.
